LESSONS

Lessons take place once per week during a set weekly time slot.

Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Weekly time slots are guaranteed once payment has been received.

Students are expected to practice between lessons and complete all practice assignments.

PAYMENT

Lessons must be paid in advance via Zelle or PayPal. (PayPal business fees will be covered by Payer.)

No refunds are offered. Once payment has been received, the student must commit to taking the lessons purchased, or they will forfeit the remaining lesson fees.

Additional fees are charged each semester and cover registration, studio classes, and recitals.

Once the semester has begun, new students will pay a prorated tuition based on the remaining number of lessons in the semester. Additional Fees will remain unchanged.

CANCELLATIONS

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.

If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, they must provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Any notifications under 24 hours’ notice will result in the student forfeiting the lesson fee.

It is the student's responsibility to contact teacher for make-up lesson availability.

For semester lessons, lessons must be completed before the end of the semester.

For monthly lessons, lessons must be completed before end of the following month. This make-up lesson will take place in addition to the month's regular lessons.

Rescheduled/make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled a second time.

NO SHOW POLICY

Students should reach out as soon as possible if running more than 15 minutes late.

If no communication has been made after 15 minutes, the student will be considered a “No Show” and the teacher may leave the lesson location. Lesson fee will be forfeited.

Two "No Show's" will result in a loss of weekly lesson slot. Future lessons will need to be scheduled on a week-to-week basis.

RECITALS

Recitals are included in Additional Fees and are offered one or two times per semester.

Recitals take place online or at a venue in Manhattan.

All students are required to participate in recitals as a vital part of their musical and professional growth. Students unable to attend in-person may participate virtually or send a video recording.

Adult students are not required to participate in recitals, but may choose to do so for an additional fee.

BREAKS

Each semester contains one or two breaks, during which no lessons will take place.

This is reflected in semester tuition, and semester students are not charged for these weeks.

Monthly students still owe lesson fees for breaks. Make up lesson policies will apply and are outlined in the CANCELLATIONS section above.
